Matthew Wehbe is the principle physiotherapist and owner of Five Dock Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre. He qualified with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney.
In the past Matthew has worked as a physiotherapist at the NSW Institute of Sports Medicine and he has also worked with various sporting teams over the years including: Sydney United Football Club, APIA Leichardt Tigers Soccer Club, West Harbour Rugby Union Club, Marconi Stallions Soccer Club, and a range of Winter Super League Soccer teams. Matthew was the Head Physiotherapist at Sydney United Football Club in the NSW Premier League from 2004 to 2008 and head Physiotherapist at APIA Leichhardt in 2010.
Matthew is a sports enthusiast who played Rugby Union for 21 years and also played touch football and Oztag for over 10 years. He now enjoys keeping fit and healthy with a varying mix of exercise including swimming, jogging and gym based training including functional training and weights training.
Matthew enjoys treating all areas of the body, but has a particular interest in treating shoulder injuries, spinal complaints, sports injuries and rehabilitating people after orthopaedic surgery. Matthew is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia, Physiotherapy Business Australia and Sports Physiotherapy Australia.
